Sunshine Coast local 3 piece Rasayana will be performing their simple sweet style of original devotional tunes this Sunday at a special afternoon opening of the Up Front Club at 5.00pm.
Featuring the divine vocals of Radha Bornstein and Adrienne Bail (Jambezi), and percussion from Maleny`s Wayne Reid, the group express a passion for the love of earth and spirit in a dynamic musical journey.
” For some, our music fills a void”, says Wayne, “…it`s a simple style that most can relate to yet it always gives reverence to spirit”.
Both deep, and uplifting, Rasayana will stir and enliven your soul.

Reggae Band ‘Fyah Walk’ to play Maleny Dance Night.

Its time to dance again and The Art of Mother Earth have lured Byron Bay 7 piece ‘Fyah Walk’ and their trombone, trumpet,guitars,keyboards and drums in for what promises to be a uniquely Australian roots reggae dance evening.  Fyah Walk are highly regarded  musicians made up of members from prominent Australian reggae outfits and present what has proven to be a reggae supergroup on the national touring circuit. They combine elements of Jamaican, African, Native American and Indigenous Australian culture to create vibrant dance grooves with positive reggae messages. Fyah Walk will launch what is arguably one of the best reggae albums by an Australian reggae band, “Sunrise Red” in Maleny on the night. Catch Fyah Walk and one of Australia’s top Funk DJ’s Freddie FlyFingaz at the Maleny Community Centre on Friday 14th November 2008 from 800pm.
